Mr. Box Office Costume Edition

On this episode of Mr. Box Office "Major Justice" the wardrobe team had to dress each of the actors/actress in a super hero costume. This was extremely exciting, and interesting. We were able to use our creative sides when picking out outfits and themes for each actor/actress.
You might not see it at first, or last...but heres Tony Roberts & Alex Thomas in there all black suits!! Such a pleasure to work with these two. They are always cracking jokes and are a blast to be around.
My two favorite favorite looks. Essence Atkins was dressed as Cat Lady & Vivica Fox was dressed as Ba-Bam Lady! They both look striking and firece in their costumes, even with a cat on her head Essence still looks graceful! These two ladies can rock any look!! They make our jobs very easy :)

My Last Minute Halloween Costume

For Halloween I didn't have much time to find a costume and do the whole shing dig. I had to work that day which is no excuse, but I will use it as my excuse haha* So I stopped at a local mall & saw these snake skin jeans. Once I saw them I knew I would be an 80's Rock Star for Halloween! I picked up this bedazzled bra at the same mall for around $30.00 totally worth it in my not so humble opinion.

I got this fabulous Wig from L.A. Style Fashion Week for only $60 bucks. What a deal considering how soft and natural it feels.
I loved the color combo of this wig. One of my favorites hands down. Especially since I knew I wasn't going to be able to get my hair done prior to going out.
You know I had to strike a Fierce pose! I wouldn't be So Snazzy without one! Rock on Sugalips
I need a backstage groupie then I'll be complete.
Behind the scenes shots! I love these curls....the colors are delicious!!
Close up look of my hair & makeup. I did my own makeup which took me the longest, about an half & hour or so. I love painting my face !! Halloween was a ton of fun & I loved seeing all the other costumes & sexy guys & ladies :-*

Hope you enjoyed :-)

steaming
assisting with fittings
delivering costumes & supplies
taking pictures of different looks
pinning & sewing costumes

Vintage meets Snazzy

Once upon a time while I was in San Pedro at a thrift store off of 8th and Pacific, I spent almost an hour searching through the racks for something spectacular.  Maybe a Marilyn Monroe dress or a Picasso painting, or something more in my price bracket (Don't forget this is fashion on a budget.) I found a couple items that would be a good addition to my fall collection, and then I stumbled upon this master piece!

I grabbed this beautifully constructed number that was marked at $100.00 so fast that I dropped the other items in my hand that couldn't compare to that dress. (Of course I picked them back up later o_o )
My first thought was, "That's an obvious steal," but with my bargaining skills I knew I would've been able to talked the lovely lady down to a lower price, without of course offending her merchandise.
I proudly walked out of the store with a dress that I paid $25.00 for (plus a little tip), and the best part is that it was in perfect condition.

After finding this lovely dress I was inspired to conjure up a Vintage Style photo shoot. All pictures were shot by Nia Simone Aka Spunky
Location: Downtown Los Angeles in front of a Church

I paired the dress with some gladiator style heels, Snazzy purple hair, and jewelry to keep it rocking.
-I did my own makeup using mostly Mac products for my eyes, $2 eyelashes, & Mac Nicki 2 lipstick
